norton antivirus users... in case you haven't been keeping up on things nav is now updating their virus definitions much more frequently than in the recent past. used to be about every 2 weeks. then every week. now i am finding some updates available every three days. for example, i updated from the web today definitions that became available on 12/6. previous definitions were updated on 12/3. these are not huge updates. but i am assuming that they are critical in our current infectious environment. so i keep up. and, of course, that's only half of the fight. it helps to run the virus scan after that. <g3> fwiw, :) mark
