V-ONE Initial Member of UUNET's VPN Vendor Alliance Program
SmartGate VPN Receives 'UUNET Tested' Seal of Compatibility
GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1999--V-ONE© Corporation (Nasdaq: VONE - news), a leading provider of client/server Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), today announced that it is one of the five initial members of the VPN Vendor Alliance Program developed by UUNET, an MCI WorldCom company.
As a member of the VPN Vendor Alliance Program, V-ONE's innovative SmartGate© VPN technology can now be identified as ``UUNET Tested' and the company can realize increased new revenue opportunities through referrals from UUNET.
All VPN solutions selected by UUNET for evaluation are rigorously tested for compatibility with UUNET's global network based on multiple criteria. Once accepted into the program, the vendor's VPN solution receives the ``UUNET Tested' seal of compatibility.
