PW: Wouldn't this cause your requests to alternate and fool the detector(s)? That is pretty much what I used to do. It required the "auto refresh" window to be the "active" window, rather than minimized on the task bar. If interrupted, I would just maximize one of those windows and the connection would remain open. It no longer seems to work, even with a ticker running on the screen...a nefarious plot by MS, implemented with IE5...<g> I am enamoured with the "...but cost nothing to try" part... I may try jw's software suggestion, since he has had hands on experince with it... The response is appreciated. JCC
