*Brazil* Rumour has it that roughly 1600 phones have been sold in Brazil. Right now the minutes are free, but the billing system is supposed to come on line in the next 2-3 weeks [right around Xmas]. So, it seems that things are indeed heating up a little. Globalstar [Loral/Qualcomm and contractors] did a great job of getting the system up and running, small glitches like Zenit and Long Term Capital Management world financial panic aside. That will add to the mythology in decades to come. All good fun! We had a LOT of fun that month! Now, at last, there are signs of life at the Service Providers. Yayyy!! Now we just need Ericy and Telit to come on line with the GSM versions. Maurice
