Earnings Day

JL,

I have always been under the impression that Microsoft will be the last one to do anything....but they would also be the ones to fear if they should decide that they wanted to buy the leading position.

Since I have a limited option position right now....I'm kind of hoping that IDX says quiet for a while......or whatever they announce is misunderstood (which happens a lot). I think there is a very major market correction very close at hand.....and nobody will be able to get out of the way. The NASDAQ is now up 60%....and the internet index up 200% for the year. Yikes!

I broke down and bought my first set of AMZN January puts today......and I hope that IDX is still at it's current price when the talk in January turns to security......when September IDX options will be available.

I think the best move time on IDX will once again be the earnings announcement day. The earnings will be terrible.......but the story will be very good....and should get much better over the Spring and Summer.

I'm expecting IDX to ship very large numbers of stuff in 2000.....but that nobody will catch on to this fact until at least the next conference call.

It's my plan......and I'll bet even Rob will get on it. The Commission has called the last two IDX runs perfectly.....and Rob knows it.

In this case.....I'm seeing a large run...with IDX being much higher in September. New all time highs....and so on. The big one.

So in the short run....I suggest being on the sidelines with cash.....and that patience will pay off.
