And lookin' good!

Randy - I like to think that I got prices of 292 and 294 for shorting RHAT as a result of my incredible intellect when it comes to trading. But in truth, I've been trying to short RHAT for a long time now - and it was not until today that I found some shares to borrow. So, it was pure luck.

And it might turn out to be bad luck if RHAT gaps up tomorrow morning (at least I have a 20 point buffer). It just kind of rubs me the wrong way that Red Hat, with $15 million in sales and $5 million in losses and with a business model that one would be hard pressed to claim as having a unique competitive advantage, would have a market cap of $20 billion.

But with my luck (and it is luck, as I certainly don't view making money on these stocks as having anything to do with smarts or skill), Red Hat will announce a 4-1 split in the morning - and the RHAT will be pushing 400 by market open.

-Eric
