I am not aware of that. Where do you shop for computer related items? Business definitely picking up FPDs faster than regular users due to cost, I have seen some banks and US Postal converted to FPDs.

the analogs display 16 million colors...the digitals only like 65K
I don't think so. Here is a model from Princeton Graphics using PanelLink chipset from SIMG, 16 million true color.

As far as I know most FPDs come with true color, the only exception I know is the one made by KDS which was criticized for only 2^18 color support, and it's an analog one.

Usually, the analogs cost the about same as digitals (bundled with special display card). In the long run, without a doubt, pure digital will prevail, and this I am 100% positive than what SIMG price movement will be.

New CRTs have pretty good shielding against EM emission but limited to the front panel only, emission from both sides and back still high. With FPD, you can hardly detect anything.
