Hey; what is this: Sanyo,Hitachi,Fujitsu to sell music via cell phone -From AOL news-- Cooters TOKYO, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Sanyo Electric Co <6764.T> said on Thursday that it, Hitachi Ltd <6501.T> and Fujitsu Ltd <6702.T> plan to start distribution of music via cell phones next year. A Sanyo spokesman said cell phones will be used to download music into a next-generation memory stick, which is being jointly developed by Siemens AG <SIEGn.DE> of Germany, Hitachi and Sanyo. Sanyo will also manufacture cell phones in which the new memory stick can be installed and with a plug for head phones, he said. Further details will be announced at 3 p.m. (0600 GMT). Shares in Sanyo were down one yen or 0.24 percent at 409 yen in early Thursday morning trade. Hitachi shares stood at 1,375 yen, down 30 yen or 2.14 percent and Fujitsu shares were up 10 yen or 0.27 percent at 3,770 yen.
