Unless my memory is off (very possible) VICL is not in the business of "fixing genes" It uses gene patterns (common DNA fragments) but does not try to alter genes. Some slide may be ill understood news related, but realistically, with no new news, profit taking/retracement following a good runnup is expected. Did I miss a perfict profit taking op? Sure. Am I confidant of my ability to good DD analysis and stay with a company when the fundimentals are at variance with the market? Yes. Am I a good trader. Absolutely not. Did I get good long term results? Look at ADIC, PERL, PTIX, TTP. Held thru paper losses & dead money. Lost paper gains. My account is in the top 3 of a Prudential VP. With a diversified portfolio, I'm over 100% YTD. IMSCO, VICL is achieving progressive successes on multiple fronts, without any material setbacks with a management that has put together a good portfolio, solid partnerships, and very strong financial management. This is a big long term winner.
If you are good at trading and accumulating, with the discipline to not lose sight of a stock when you don't own - go for it. I Bought HLIT at 13+, sold at 20+, saw it decline. Stopped following. HUGE error. Look at the chart. One of my biggest loosers in terms of opportunity cost. Scott |
