Dennis:

Go to Canada stockwatch site at 204.191.227.10 and pull up a chart on SNL and KRT, you will see what I mean by the seasonal play. Prices are based mostly on prospects from new drilling results, aquisitions and strategic partnerships with other mining companies. The junior stocks are mainly prospecters and when they find something worth another look, they will usually get another company to earn a share in the find by doing more exploration on the site. If the site proves mineable, a lot of times a third company comes in and develops a working mine. By this time your equity ownership may be diluted to 25% of the net smelter run or less. Of course the royalty to the land owner comes out before the companies shares.

It's kinda like the fairy tale--You have to kiss a lot of toads, before the prince comes along. That's why the bulk of your precious metal money should be in mutuals instead of individual stocks. This is just my opinion derived from several years in the school of hard knocks. I've been to the kitco site one time and will have to revisit it again. I have a hard time getting my time on the computer now that both my sons are out of school. Later.
