Re:Rambus Announces Technology and Market Directions High Bandwidth Technologies to Address Communications Market Rambus has been in development of a DSP GigaBit Ethernet chip with Texas Instuments for TWO YEARS, and they are probably going to announce new product development in January. If you do a search of the TI web site you will find all sorts of links to "TNET" which is the GB Ethernet communications chip that utilize RAMBUS technology.
