yogi, your series of posts regarding unspeakable police state abuse jerked me out of lurker status. i want to express Janelle's and my corporate and individual profound regret that you were treated in such a despicable, inhumane, and unconscionable manner.

i have been mulling over your first and second revelation of personal victimization by brutal police posts all night, and arose to speak with you about it this morning. all i could think of was my hope that policing manners had improved, until i realized with a thud and rekindling of my anger by your new accounts this morening citing continuing examples of displays of inabout even getting to make at lease one phone call by those seattle arrested. i don't care HOW MANY were arrested, rioting or not.

the first thing that happens in an abuse situation is to isolate and then destroy the spirit. to hear of it in your case and to witness it again in this seattle matter that old forty niner has been laying out clear and justifiably horrifically is more than depressing. it is intolerable.

if you have any ideas how we can reign in abuse of police authority, or give us any tips as to how to overcome our natural tendency to fight or flight when we are wronged, i would appreciate your commentary.

my point is simply this. your description of events occured however many years ago. the seattle battle was only last week. all of these occured PRE- y2k. i am on record as anticipating with certainty declaration of curfew enforced by imposition of martial law POST y2k. i am presupposing many similar experiences to yours and worse, and its attending abuses inherent in such martial law imposition by FEMA and blessed by our puppet sitting president.

you kept your sanity. you kept your personal sense of self-worth. you kept your ability to know right from wrong. i submit there are many who will be accosted in similar if not MORE unspeakable manner as the result of freemen doing NOTHING to curb the abuse now, after clinton declares presidential emergency and the fruitcakes at FEMA are put in charge of our daily lives and use the military to keep us in line.

i'm hoping you will spend a few minutes with this thread addressing the topic of how to stay sane and emerge whole though not unscarred from inevitable repeats of your particular dreadful experiences directly ahead. i look forward to reading that if you are up to it.

and while i'm on this topic of military and martial law, i'd like to respectfully remind you that the strategic reserves of which you speak need to be refined before usage. and since there are more of "us" than "them" trying to keep us in line, it is only reasonable in Janelle's and my minds that all petrol will be kept for military usage, and not one drop wasted on us ordinary citizens. you see, one way to control is to interfere with mobility. how better to do that than to make gasoline unavailable except to military and emergency personel.

i think your faith in strategic reserves is woefully misplaced.

thank you for your time. i look forward to your reply.
