Hank,

I wonder if the FDA will allow a little truth in advertizing. I think it would be quite effective if PRLN could put the following on AndroVir's label:

"Androvir Food Supplement for a holistic approach to life.

THE FDA HAS DETERMINED THAT WE CAN NOT CLAIM THAT ANDROVIR HELPS FIGHT AIDS BY BOOSTING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM"

This would be a truthful lable. It would not be making any claims for health benifits. But with a wink and a nod combined with word of mouth, the target group of patients would know what it is for. I am reminded of a story I was told about the days of prohibition. I don't remember the exact conditions that were needed to turn this prodcut into alcohol, but there was a log that had the precursor ingredients for alcohol that had a warning lable on it that said something like this:

WARNING! DO NOT PUT THIS LOG IN A TUB OF WATER WITH THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS .... OR ELSE IT WILL RESULT IN THE FORMATION OF AN ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE.

I don't know if this story really happened, but I heard that quite a few logs were sold that way.
