That's interesting because I remember someone else (can't remember who) was speculating that 3M would be an excellent supplier for Ballard's membrane. BLD has developed their own membrane but they are looking for a volume manufacturer for it just like the UCAR announcement on the graphite plates. I remember seeing a documentary years ago on innovation and it featured the 3M reasearcher who developed the Post-it sticky notepads. They mentioned that 3M specializes in "flat" products like tape. Membrane would fit in well. I believe BLD was to announce a membrane supplier as part of this years targetted goals so maybe we will hear soon. Regards
