I had thought so, but they seemed to run up with such strength that the daily macd divergences never completely formed; I see macd's making new highs today for the Naz (subject to the close, I guess) and the macd a few days ago on the DJIA appears higher than it was in November. That's the risk, I suppose, of trying to anticipate a divergence. Moreover, I've seen similar divergences in the past for the Naz, and sometimes they've signaled a correction while other times the average went pretty much sideways until the divergence was worked off.
