I suppose Churchill was his favorite ally, but he had a soft spot for Uncle Joe. Is it safe to say Stalin was Eleanor's favorite ally? If I.F. Stone of the New York Times was aware of the atrocities of the 30's, don't you think our State Dept. was on to it also? If FDR was "blind" to the magnitude of Stalin's crimes and was "addled" at Yalta, doesn't that speak to what kind of president he really was?
