edamo, all, a question.

Let's assume Dell needs to address the issue of employee options. when many in the plant are in living in $800K homes while still making $40K annual salaries, disparity between "financial success and real success" possibly has a psychological impact on the ranks of the work force relative to continued performance.

what would be the ultimate end, say, relative to performance (y variable) when employees' average 401K balance approximates $600K (x variable)? has there been any studies in this regard? This would be a new phenomenon I would think.

personally I believe it is simply a matter of the non-number crunching bobos being back again today. maybe they're having more psychic visions.

they obviously believe the sunw is rising while Dell's sun is in retreat. but that is ultimate hogwash.
