Big mofo 'Lion of Judah' sized OT thing..... Merl Saunders (speaking of B-3) last night at The Sweetwater in Mill Valley; boom merlsaunders.com I'm sure this means nothing to anybody (except maybe Mitch), but DAMN! Sugar Mag and me were goovin' with 50 or 100 other folks to reggae, funk, Dead tunes piped through the boogie machine and up through the dance floor and the pints of (get in-to mah belly!) Boonville Amber Ale. Bob Wier didn't show up but Narada Michael Walden did. He sat in for several songs, including a melt the mind Fire on the (funky) Mountain. I was in AWE. I know a lot of drummers. THIS guy is on another plane of existence. ---Anyway, I just wanted to suggest to my fellow SUNW longs here that you pry away from the low level radiation and TAKE YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER OUT of the house for a 'DATE'. It's a good thing. So... (and here's where I turn into Peter Finch) turn off the PC monitor tonight tell the kids not to wait up, and go find some DANCABLE MUSIC! :) (JMO) -JCJ ---Edit- twister- You just go to a diner and have a coke. <g>
