Swisscargo Selects BCE Emergis For Global Electronic Cargo Messaging Gateway

BCE Emergis' first deal as a single-source provider to a
major international airline.
BCE Emergis announced today that it has signed a minimum two-year
renewable agreement to provide Swisscargo, the worldwide air cargo
network of SAirGroup, with a single and exclusive global electronic
messaging gateway that will seamlessly connect it to its trading
partners worldwide.

Swisscargo a one-to-one relationship with a single service provider
and eliminates the need for us to concern ourselves with the complex
interfaces and protocol-translation requirements of our hundreds of
trading partners," said Ludwig Bertsch, President and CEO of
Swisscargo.
Through a single connection, Swisscargo customers, mainly freight
forwarders, will be able to exchange air waybills, book cargo space
and track their shipments through the system. BCE Emergis will handle
all day-to-day operations, including the translation of multiple
messaging protocols, and ensure the security of all transactions
worldwide.

a non-exclusive basis, to 46 other major airlines," said Christian
