OT. Like many other people, I keep thinking about the sale of the handset division, and to whom and when it is going to be announced.

Last night it occurred to me that it may make sense for the Q to wait until post split to announce the aforementioned news. Not post split approval, but actually post split for the simple reason that the stock price will appear to some people to be more "reasonable", and attractive.

Dr. J stated optimism for the handset sale announcement by the end of the year. The split may not take shape until 12/30/1999. For many people, buying a $100 stock is a lot easier then buying a $400 stock, and therefore waiting for the split to take place could have produce a bigger gain for the stock price. Any thoughts?

Waiting for some good news that the Q actually reacts to <g>, Surpow
