Ed. When the productivity numbers regarding wireless vs wired offices start rolling in (they are just beginning to), it will become the next "productivity jump" - a similar jump created by the PC itself.

So, it is not simply an issue of not having a wire running through your office, it is an issue of measurable productivity gains.

Construction firms that have been applying the "wireless office" techniques in NYC (a test market) now say they won't do it any other way - productivity, they believe, as much as 20% on some sites.

There are some internet sites which speak to this test market data. If you're interested I'll post them and the technology they're using to accomplish this.
