Like it or not, Intel is a bellweather. Intel can drag down the whole sector. Such is not the case with AMD. This is not to say Intel is responsible for AMD being down today but I sure don't see the decoupling that I feel AMD deserves.
If Intel say would announce weak CPU sales, wall street would take AMD right down with it, I'm afraid. If it doesn't then Wall Street is smarter than I thought.
