Hello PJ,

I still have a difficult time defining exactly what "digitalme technology" is ... you refer to it, and I've heard a lot of talk ... but I haven't seen a concrete outline or doc on exactly what it now is. I knew at one time ... ;-)

So from my perspective, my addressbook and "Contacts List" are one and the same. Why keep two different lists of people/addresses when I could have one which simply tracks both, allow each to have different attributes ...

> 2) set priority to my messages via my Contacts List

Yep ... these are again just attributes in the directory, for the contact ... this one makes sense ...

> 3) Create groups from my Contacts List for better communications

Yep ... again, the ability to create "ad-hoc" groupings of contacts makes sense. This is another simple capability ...

Yes, there are a variety of ways that this is being done now on the Internet ... and they become very effective. This was one of the reasons that I felt so strongly about the creation of "communities" ... they create the foundation for these types of interaction and blocking to occur.

Yes ... actually I believe that these are just simple communications that are layered on top of a properly architected contact list/address book ...

And there are many more ... of course ... ;-)

... and now with the new cell phones coming, and the Visor from Handspring ... we are going to see even more!
