John, Faber also mentioned that the SEC inquiry might include a review of short selling immediately prior to the release of Tice's reports. According to Faber, Tice refused to comment on whether he had been contacted by the SEC recently. My view is that Faber adds value. You can't fault CNBC for covering TYC on a day it's down 25% on 100 million plus shares. BTW I am long Tyco and doubled my position at the open.
