>can someone recommend a video card that will support dual monitors? - James

IF you are running Win98 or 2000, dual monitors are supported - up to 5 I believe - in the program. Finding the video cards that will work together, however, is a problem.

You can, of course, purchase special purpose cards - at a special purpose price to match :). If you are a serious gamer on the same computer this might be the way to go.

However, it can be done very inexpensively as well -

I use a Diamond Viper 330 as my primary card and a diamond Stealth II 220S for the second monitor. The 220S is an older card - hey, the Viper is an older card now - and may be hard to find but it took us a very long time of trying before we found someone at Diamond that knew that two Vipers would not work together.

I run 4 megs of memory on the cards but you can add more if you like.

Both of these cards were the hottest thing going at one time and do a very good job. Not heavy into games but have had absolutely no troubles with some of the ones I have tried.

Good luck - we had a very hard time finding this above information so hope it helps you as it did us.
