I don't see them as such. IBM's Gorilla period was during the main frame computer tornado, which was ended by a discontinuous innovation (minicomputers), which was in turn ended by another discontinuous innovation (PCs). In the PC arena, IBM began as King, but is now a lowly Prince Without Aptitude. They seem to be relying on the e.com arena for their comeback attempt as a Godzilla, but I fear they are handicapped by the many bricks they carry.
