You are right on all counts...
Intel did not do anything to drag the techs down today BUT what I'm saying is that it still has that power...
Unfortunuately, with this tech rally, Intel is getting none of the good and all of the bad. Some call it relative strength, which Intel has little of "right now".
The other thing that needs to be understood is a lot of the mudslinging on this thread vs Intel is backlash against the many mindless posts from the so called "Intellabees" over the years.
Finally, AMD has something to fight back with...and it's all in good fun. So a new guy (or gal) shows up on the thread and can't understand the demeanor...when, from what I hear, the adversarial mood here is a lot like the inner working of Intel...probably why Adam Latham has the "suck it up and go attitude".
