Olga, As a long time F'CM watcher, just a little cold water on the sellabraton: This, in my opinion, at this point in time , is a hype announcement. "According to Franklin CEO Frank Peters, "While much excitement has been engendered recently over Linux IPOs -- like Red Hat Inc. (Nasdaq:RHAT) and VA Linux (Nasdaq:LNUX) -- it's interesting to note that all of our VoIP products, including our award-winning Tempest(R) System and the forthcoming Breeze(TM) and Typhoon(R) lines have been Linux based from their inception.
"We haven't needed to add Linux compatibility -- it was designed in from the beginning. This is very gratifying
Of course it's great for all the folks that understand that this is a prime the well pump up. I wonder where all those shares came from that were gobbled up the last two days. Of course, I could be wrong and this could be something, but I'll have to see some sales announcements to believe it. Oh, when they talk about award winning, a word to the wise: ask what awards,i.e., other than "the best of show" that gets given to approx. 25% of exhibitors in trade shows. In my opinion its still a trading stock and you can get in very backwards by falling in love with it. Best of luck, Lew |
