Thankyou for taking the time to elaborate on what "to do/ or what to look for in a stock. (what may seem obvious to you . . . but is eye-opening for me when it's laid out the way you did). I should be the one to " apologize" for being so inquisitive, if not forward, in asking you to unveil your thought processes. It is MUCH appreciated. Your post will definitely find a prominent place in my "book" (collection) of suggestions/ techniques/ and mechanical "how-to's I've been putting together on trading. Things that I have put together from seasoned traders that were generous enough with their time and insights to share them freely with me. If I may ask one more dumb question? Assume you were to start all over TODAY in assembling a "watch list . Do you 1) use your briefing .com to check out prospects that you have ALREADY found from A DIFFERENT source (IBD or the Journal, or word of mouth, or "screens", or or filters you use . . . or WHERE?) Or do you 2)use briefing .com site to find possible candidates on news wires, then screen them there? Many thanks, . . . the pest. . . jaytee
