Unless they can find some other way of implementing the
GUI calls conversion. Remember, patents are for specific
inventions, not a general method.

That some IP executive from IBM joined GraphOn does not
automatically grant it some supernatural powers. Two
things actually immediately leap to mind:

(1) GraphOn bot this patent from somebody. How much was
it worth then ?

(2) John Sculley and Noise Cancellation. When he got the
boot from Apple, he joined NC. The stock jumped many-fold
(this was before the dot com era), and tanked just as soon.
Sculley couldn't confer validatation to whatever it was
that Noise did. (actually there are more juicy tidbits
to the story but I'll let you research that :-)

Actually, a 3rd thing also leaps to mind -- the smartness
of IBM sr execs.

I am of course not a lawyer. But, for the moment I am
going to ignore this lawsuit and concentrate on the business.
