RE: 5M Zips in 1996
Are the five million zips that Iomega plans to make in 1996 based on current efficiency (sp?) rates or what? Is it possible that with better automation in the next six months that 6, 7, or 8 M zips are possible? And, is that five million from Iomega alone and not including Epson and that manufacturer in Belgium? I have so many questions...another of which, could someone please tell me (or us) which IBM models will have zips standard, optional, or whatnot? Like the Acer deal....first is was ASSUMED that they would be sold in the U.S., then told only in ASIA, then back to US. I do not want another situation like that. I hate vague press releases. They don't tell you enough. I'm afraid that if the IBM deal will only include the highest end model while the others are zip-less, resulting in a ACER-like sell off. Anyone with comments?
