some more news EToys Inc. (ETYS: news, msgs) subsidiary BabyCenter has sold its Consumer Health Interactive unit. The buyer, paying $20 million in cash and securities, is an investor group headed by J.H. Whitney & Co. (www.jhwhitney.com), a private equity firm and investor in health-care and Internet ventures. CHI is a vehicle for for health plans to use the Internet to attract and retain members. Customers include Blue Shield of California.
