Here's my 2nd attempt at when the 40% drop occurs. Friday Dec, 17,1999. The reason: It is the last Friday before Christmas week. I would expect most people to cash in their gambling winnings(since that is what this market has become) before the holidays so they could spend the week without worrying if their portifolio will be cut in half (back to where it was a couple weeks ago). It will be blamed on Y2K concerns, probably. The only one I question is EBAY since it hasn't run like a cat on fire in the past few weeks. Then again, AMZN probably just caught fire today and may well gain 100% or more before 12/17/99, so why couldn't EBAY make its' move also this week? AOL is sitting at its' 52 week high so it should gain about 70% by then too. Why do I think they will move like that??? because they haven't yet!!
