Mani, <Intel's wild card? techweb.com Intel Process Tweak Improves Pentium III > It does look like Intel has some neat innovations on the process side but pushing an old core seem to be taking a toll. I suspect that the 800s going out now are early samples. I personally think AMD is pulling away but given we have PB on the other side saying "it ain't so", let's see when the 800s get into volumes. And more importantly, let's see what AMD will offer in the same time frame. Chuck
