That was timely. I just was musing what process folks will say about this. I think your statement reinforces my belief.

If this hypothesis of barely 1GHz holds, AMD could have a leg up of 200-400MHz before Intel's 0.13 kicks in. If AMD has the wherewithal to exploit this there will be a lot of happy folks on this thread.
