It's really not appropriate to compare RTIN to AMMB. First, RTIN is trading just at its book value, AMMB is at 1/6 its book and less than 1/2 its HARD tangible book. Second, AMMB's long awaited news did come to pass 3+ months after they announced it would, RTIN has been dragging on for most of the year.

AMMB may have other problems. But they have $1.88 in cash(trading in the low 2s) and the Aussies are going to pay $250mm for a PIECE of them, and not the most profitable piece either. It WILL rise from the low 2s. Once Pru and the Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanleys load up, we will see analyst upgrades.

RTIN will maybe have a newsletter push it on news. But even so, they will have to prove that they can grow the FB chain. That is a forward looking event.

If RTIN popped tomorrow and went to the moon, I would have absolutely no problem taking those funds and investing them into AMMB.

On the otherhand, I would cautiously venture into RTIN from AMMB were it the one to pop.
