Where will the forced liquidation come from? I admit I had heard
about Short Squeeze, but not forced Liquidation. If you are familiar
with Amerindo's investment style you should know that they are post
venture small cap technology investors. They usually stay invested
for 3-5 years, do their own research and don't overreact to quarterly
fluctuations as long as the management is executing the game plan.
We have been in a small-cap technology stock Bear market for 11 months
now and everybody here and elsewhere is talking about shorting and
buying puts. Seems to me that sentiment is too Bearish already for
this to continue much longer. Once the Fed is done raising interest
rates and slowing the economy, we should gradually see a shift from
large-cap to small-cap stocks. Technology stocks with great products
and management like RMDY should become leaders again. Don't worry too
much about Amerindo either. He has been through these downturns
before, if anything, he usually buys more and squeezes the shorts
when timing is right.
