The problem I see with EDIS, as contained in the article is that while they have been developing the technology and working to find a profitable way to use it, other developers and other technologies have been traveling on a parallel course. Now, as EDIS approaches money making avenues, others will be using satellites for cheaper and broader mapping. While EDIS may enjoy a lead, it may be short lived. Not sure I would view EDIS as a long term investment.
I have been in EDIS since 1996 when that gravel voiced commentator on the old CNFN hyped it up to a dollar and change where it stayed for almost 2 days before sliding to about 6 cents where it's been until just recently. Be careful not to be one left holding the bag when the inevitable profit taking sets in as the hype passes (Deja Vou). For better or worse, I've sold all but a 1,000 shares, now owned free, and taken my substantial profits to the bank. Just a word of caution. I hope it goes to ten, but in the end the only thing that will keep EDIS up is profits or their prospects of profits.
