Totally off the subject, but I would like to know if anyone knows the answer to this:

The WSJ recently had an article about Yahoo, when it was just added to the S & P 500.

On November 30th, it was announced Yahoo would be added.

Yahoo was 212 then.

By the time it was added, Yahoo was up to 346.

Nice return over an eight-day period!

This is known as the S & P effect, according to the WSJ.

Does anyone know a site where stocks about to be added to the S & P
500 are analyzed to see how much they go up after the initial
announcement?

Or, for that matter, does anyone know a site where you can find out which stocks about to be added to the S & P 500?

Thanks in advance!
