Who do you think you are to make such pronouncements as:" first there is no such thing as 'animal rights.' " Who made you God? Or did you just appoint yourself? You think by writing a few words, you create an independent reality? Of course there is such a thing as animal rights--people discuss it and act upon it. It is a component of the real world. Whether you like it or not. What you might mean is " I don't believe there SHOULD be such a thing as animal rights, or I believe only human beings who own property should have rights." Fortunately, many disagree with you. And who are you to tell anybody what they SHOULD object to. You are incredibly arrogant. And boorish. You write, "...another collectivist tool to abrogate the only true rights that exist--those rights of men and women"--what hogwash, what opinionated claptrap, what utter drivel. It is thinking like yours that will wipe out the human race you claim to love. You must have overdosed on LSD--you are out of touch with reality. Must have been under the influence of A Rand or some equally insidious garble. Enough of your anthropocentric ravings.
