One of our programmers tells me that LINUX is a good operating system that will probably capture a lot of the server market but it is VERY difficult to work with currently, even for experienced UNIX programmers. He believes the learning curve for LINUX is rather long which will keep its popularity from exploding. He also belives that anyone who develops a good higher level language to take advantage of LINUX would be a good play.
