Hi Olsinvest; It's not about taking a profit, it's about failing to execute a stop loss correctly. Maybe a better word would be "stop loss of profits" rather than "stop loss."

The basic problem I have is that I got used to the stock as a sleepy big spread safe long term hold, and it suddenly became what I call a "flying turkey". (If the wind is strong enough, even the turkeys can fly.)

So I got out this morning for about at least 4 dollars under what I could of. Smile... I need to learn to adapt to changing market conditions just a little faster.

What ticks me off is that I usually play flying turkeys very well. When ADSP went from 8 1/2 to 11 earlier this week, I pulled 1 3/4 out of the trade in a little over five minutes. That was a 15% return on investment. But I never had any experience of ADSP as a stock that was safe to leave in my account. So I didn't have the inclination to hang onto the trade.
