Well... Not that it's not a mania... But linux is a damn good operating system, much better than BG's windoz. What's more, almost all respectable net servers use Linux or FreeBSD. I do believe it's the most exciting development of the software market in the 1990-s. Red Hat linux is $50 (with support), and you can buy a lot of applications on top. So it's not completely given away :-). (Well there are MANY companies that sell linux distributions, but red hat seems to be the best) Of course, everything that's exciting in the tech market flies to the sky and beyond these days.
