Cisco & Silknet ink alliance aimed at e-business systems
Folks...FYI...more evidence the e-crm software sector is heating up. This can only make SIDEWARE more attractive. I smell an acquisition...do you?

InfoWorld Electric via NewsEdge Corporation : Cisco Systems and Silknet Software on Monday announced an alliance through which the companies will offer corporations Web-based software for building e-business systems.
Through the arrangement, Silknet will integrate its Silknet eBusiness System with Cisco networking systems for policy-based network management; directory, networking and security services; quality of services; load balancing; and other technologies, according to the companies.
Silknet eBusiness System is a Web-based platform for building,deploying, and configuring e-business applications. An accompanying application, Silknet eService, provides customer self-service and collaboration using the Web, e-mail, telephones, and other messaging media.
Also being deployed in the Cisco-Silknet alliance is Silknet eCommerce, for building and managing electronic storefronts, according to the companies.
