Thu 9 Dec 99 News Release
Mr. W. Styffe reports
Safe Environment Engineering Canada has entered a product development
agreement with Defrietas Plastics of Richmond, B.C., and a private
investor.
Defrietas Plastics are innovators, diemakers, and manufacturers of a line
of unique injection molded plastic building products. Products manufactured
by Defreitas are targeted to be sold to the construction and related
industries. It has been agreed between the parties to develop or expand
existing product lines of Defreitas and to commercialize a patented preset
"cast in place" concrete anchor used to attach a broad range of mechanical,
electrical and architectural components to concrete building structures.
The current innovation under development is the subject of United States
patent No. 5226770. A private investor has financed initial development
costs relating to the commercialization of the intellectual property
claimed, and further patent claims are now pending. Safe Environment holds
first and exclusive rights to own or use the various technologies either
under development or contemplated to be developed by the parties to the
agreement. Definitive agreements between the parties are subject to filing
with the Canadian Venture Exchange and/or other approvals.
