After reading the last messages, I see that I'm not the only one that sees some positive future for Corel. Its astounding when you think that WP was headed for the toilet with Novell. Whatever negatives we can say (and we have a right) against Cowpland, he has rescued WP from oblivion. No small feat given what Novell was doing with it. Everytime I contemplate how Windows has managed to be the dominant (in number) O/S on desktops, I keep remembering the Beta vs VHS war that raged a few years ago. Well, now it looks like even VHS will be withering away with the coming of DVD. Will Apple be the king of NCs??? Who knows. One thing I firmly believe is that with Java, Microsoft will no longer have a stronghold on applications, and their cash cow O/S Win/## will no longer reign. At least that will be the scenario in many corporations. It won't be long before the Java technology takes over the home computer as well. Also, with Intel now touting that Java runs faster on their CPUs, they see a new avenue for them to make billions more with Intel in every NC and they don't give a damn about Microsoft with whom they've plotted for so many to rape the world. In business, when it comes to money there are no friends.

An maybe the world will be a better place for that.
