Hi Tony, still here. Am puzzled by the drop, but not worried yet. I still look at this thing as a short term thing and long term it should be OK. I definitely think there is some Y2K in there. DRAM spot price has dropped below contract price - almost unheard of in the month of Dec. Most likely some people blinked when staring at Y2K and changed their minds and push back year end deliveries. Not very surprising. Seems possible somebody unloaded a 'big' position. Don't know how 'big' is big though. Volume slightly high but not that high, as in 6M share days or anything like that. More like a lack of buyers, people sitting on their cash before Y2K perhaps? I know that if I were to have any cash, I'll be sitting on it and not commit it until the last days of the year in hope of getting even better deals. All psychology and no fundamentals perhaps, but anything that can bring in a $ .... patrick
