We haven't, but cheap turnaround plays are always worth a look.

Especially if they have new technology coming along. MSCC could be interesting. The Sterling alliance enables them to improve performance of their discrete devices by taking advantage of the high thermal conductivity and high breakdown voltage of SiC:

"For example, silicon carbide brings Microsemi a unique advantage by allowing us to quadruple the voltage of the highest-rated Schottkys available today."

This type of application might even be superior to LED substrates if they can keep the basis of competition on performance rather than on price. That's usually preferable.
