If spatial locality of the feline can be converged toward intersection with the cellphone domain in a periodic or recurring fashion, then even methanol itself may not be required. Perhaps a small amount of catnip printed on the circuit board will suffice to cause the cat to periodically recharge the cell voluntarily, thus leading to significant saving in user epidermis.
