An article in this Monday's edition of the Ottawa Citizen concerns World Heart's "race" against MicroMed and Arrow International's LionHeart device. Really nothing new in the article for those already following developments in this field. However, the article does quote MicroMed CEO Dallas Anderson as saying an IPO is possible, although "the probability of us going public is very low for the next twelve months".
